first checklist

okey, udah tinggal 6 bulan lagi nih (wah kalo Januari berakhir berarti sisa 5 bulan)..gak berasa!!! sebenernya sih yang dipusingin bukan soal apa-apa tapi soal duit buat bayar..hahahaaaaa...ya yaa jauh dalam hati saya, gak pengen nih pesta-pestaan, even when i was young, i never ever dreamt about what my wedding would be. yes, i used to dreamt about the journey I will get through with my husband. About travelling around the world (indonesia and Italy mostly), watching football game in our bedroom, and of course raising our children together..jadiiiii sebenernya gue gak pernah ngimpiin mau bentuknya kayak apa wedding gue. Sekarang ketika tiba saatnya, duuh ide sih ada, duitnya nih yg ngepas..mau maksain? sebenernya gak, tapi karena sisa gue anak dari orang tua gue, gue jadi sedikit maksa utk ngadain pesta ini. Seperti yg gue blg, walaupun gak pernah bayangin seperti apa wedding gue, gue tetep punya banyak ide. Ya ide yg simple tapi gue pengen berkesan. Lagi-lagi karena kebentur budget, gue jd pusing sendiri. Kalo mak babeh kami berdua kaya raya, mungkin gak pusing siih (palingan yang pusing mak babeh kami kalo begitu keadaannya), kami memang memutuskan utk biayain semuanya sendiri. Gue berdoa banget, Allah bisa menunjukkan jalanNya. Berikan aku rejeki yang baik ya Allah, mudahkanlah niat baik kami ini. Amiiin...begitu doa gue setiap shalat dan kapanpun gue sempatkan diri gue berdoa.

well, my checklists for the day will be:

1. Gedung --> done, already booked
2. wedding ring --> done, just a simple wedding ring with our name marked on the ring
3. wedding catering --> Mardika is booked, katanya gak usah DP dulu (ehm rada was-was sih, tp insya Allah gak ada masalah). Soon when i receive "bonus" gue akan bayarin DP utk ini..
4. souvenir --> done, tinggal bayar aja
5. undangan --> udah nyari-nyari sih, tunggu finalisasi ide aja
6. seragam keluarga --> udah survey, tinggal beli aja
7. baju buat akad --> udah ada, lagi-lagi tinggal nunggu beli..hahaaaa..
8. seserahan --> udah sebagian besar ada di rumah :)
9. dekor, salon, fotografi --> masih blank...akkkk, oke bakal jadi PR bangettt niih.

Apalagi yg belum ya?? setting acara udah kebayang, tinggal finalisasi ma keluarga. Secara keluarga gue adalah keluarga kecil, keluargnya calon suami gue pun banyak di Medan, jadilah kita akan mikir dalam lingkup yang kecil. Gue emang gak mau melibatkan banyak orang, simpelnya gue gak mau ini jadi acara banyak orang dalam arti banyak orang yg ngasih ide (iyak, gue maunya banyak orang ngasih duit..hahaahhahaaaa)..

si ibu udah kebanyakan ide, si pacar nrimo aja, gue yg mumet mikir balancingnya..tapi gue coba nikmatin, ini mah masalah gmn kita arrange sesuatu. Walaupun acaranya gak spektakuler, semoga semua berjalan lancar. Hari ini abis jalan ma si pacar liat-liat kain buat seragam, krn malas naik motor akhirnya kita naik angkot. Alhamdulillah sih naik angkot, gue bersyukur banget gak mesti naik mobil pacar apalagi kalo itu mobil ortunya. Pacar gue ini cukup oke lah buat diajak susah.

So far itulah checklist pertama gue, oke, masih punya 4 bulan utk bikin fixed semuanya. Doakan akuuuu!!!

In the Name of Allaah, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy…

Marry a lady who fears Allaah until all the components of her heart are blurred with the dread of His punishments. Marry a lady whose prostration embodies hope in Him. Marry a lady who finds patience in prayer, hereafter her conscience softens into a grandiloquent shape of complete trust in Him; that He will never forsake her, that He will never let her fall; and that His Promise is true.

Marry a lady who is not flecked with lavish sins, immeasurable wrongdoings, fallible irresponsibility, arrogant idiosyncrasies and trembling foolishness. Marry a lady who fears for a tongue too hasty, eyes too dry and determination too ashen. Marry a lady who is not asphyxiated with the hue of gossip, who does not indulge herself in business which concerns her not.

Marry a lady who does not forsake fear, for without it, ill temptations will arise, and grow. Marry a lady who travels among the dreams you both occupy of Saudiyyah. Marry a lady who wants to breathe the air of worship, in the name of Allāh firstly and solely, and then to live the pages of scholarly history, to sit under Saudiyyah's palm trees, so that you could lend her your knowledge, enrich her with history, and tradition.

Marry a lady who hopes for everything, but lives in expectation by His Will. Marry a lady who awaits faith, prayer, worship, knowledge, libraries, and societies impregnated with righteousness. Marry a lady who only exists on the raw feed of obedience, and persistence in the faith He has given her. Marry a lady who greets every grand blessing with sujood and tears.

Marry a lady whose heart melts before the power of His Words, who contemplates the sorrow that would be wrought in the discovery of her sins. And yet, remembers the unspeakable joy at the glad tidings of His Gardens. Marry a lady whose heart never allows her to forget the wrenching matters of the land to come.

Marry a lady who has her kind eyes seized on all her companions, who is affectionate toward the bashful, tender toward the lonely. Marry a lady who is rarely outstanding in conversation, and never tiresome.

Marry a lady who makes light of her deeds when she performs them. Marry a lady who never speaks of herself except and unless when obliged, who never defends herself by a sheer snap; who has no ear for malign or gossip, and who is quick to give excuse to those who hinder with her. Marry a lady who is kind, honest and has good thann of her Lord; who forgives those who harm her, and treats her salafee brothers and sisters as her own flesh and blood, who helps those who are oppressed and distressed and who never considers herself superior to anyone, no matter how inferior.

Marry a lady who never signifies anything with her disputes, who never takes iniquitous advantage of others, and who never takes personalities or jagged sayings for arguments. Marry a lady who is patient, and forbearing; who surrenders to pain because it is expected, to mourning, because it is irrevocable, and to death because it is her destiny.

Marry a lady who invokes while blinded with tears, that He makes her a lover of Him, a lover of everyone who loves Him, and a lover of any action that may bring her closer to loving Him.

Marry a lady who is wholly sparked to seeking His Face, who wouldn't hesitate to pack her bag and take off to seek knowledge in lands of timely scholars and students of knowledge, who merely desires to experience the fruitful taste of eemaan.

Marry a lady who, after Fajr, speaks to not a soul and whose hands are callused by du`aa, her heart on fire, calling out devotion to Allāh in an atmosphere already on fire. Marry a lady who only eats to stand up for night prayer, who only sleeps so that her limbs may energize for His sake. Marry a lady whose every inch shall perish if Allaah does not forgive her.

Marry a lady who shall use her intelligence to discover more ways of appreciating her husband. Marry a lady who is there for him, who loves him. Who loves him, who loves him, who loves him. Marry a lady who stays awake against the darkness of night, untainted by slumber, when her husband is upset. Marry a lady who does not blink an eyelash when her husband is angry with her. Marry a lady who loves her husband above all things, even books (or maybe a page). Marry a lady whose love for her husband is a universe of beaches, whose arms love him, her ears obey him.

Marry a lady who enhances her mind from the texts of the Qur`aan and the Sunnah. Marry a lady who adventures into archives and old-dust filled books of Muhaditheen and Mashayikh. Marry a lady who is imprisoned in the books of tafseer, in their words, in the definitions of righteousness and Paradise.

Marry a lady who lies down by the side of books and remembers the smudged ink behind the crimson-colored books that tells her of the merit of good-doing, that only the sincere shall be saved, that Allaah will raise those blind who forget Him, she remembers all the living and the dying, and those a people who testified to disbelief against the clear manifested signs of Allaah. Marry a lady who drowns at the mere reminder of being amongst the hypocrites. Marry a lady whose skin melts, whose bones crush at the mere thought that she shall be handed the book to her left hand.

Marry a lady who smiles with a quality of eternal reassurance that if she performs good deeds, she shall surpass the hoor al-`ayn. Marry a lady who harbours an increasing amount of love towards her Lord. Marry a lady who never feels dreadfully overwhelmed and lonely, for how could she be friendless when she has the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) to keep her company? Marry a lady who sticks to the ground, whose wing is lowered, whose garments are beautiful, whose heart more so.

Marry a lady who has seized the reminders of patience in a bottle, who collected them for emergencies, to find luxury and reward in calamities. Marry a lady who paints her abode in the image of verses, ahaadeeth, and tafseer, who never paints components of the Shaytaan. Marry a lady who prays to sacrifice her very self to Him, and Him Alone.

Marry a lady who travels the very far and so very troublesome distances to increase in knowledge. Marry a woman who crosses mountains, deserts and towns to obtain a small piece of knowledge to be applied beautifully and utterly.

Marry a lady who hopes for Him, hoping for Him..

1st movie date

Hari ini movie date pertama thn 2012. Tempatnya gak lain dan gak bukan ya di Setiabudi. Kami berdua emang seneng kesini. Hampir gak pernah antri, tempatnya gak terlalu crowded (not to mention: sepi), filmnya pasti baru, harganya juga gak terlalu mahal (tapi baru gue sadari kalo thn 2012 harganya naik 5000), dan pastinya gak jauh ma rumah gue :D

Film pertama New Year's Eve. Kind of romantic movie. Mirip ma Valentine's Day, nyambung cerita orang yg satu dan lainnya. Lucu dan romantis siyyy..ada si Rachel-nya Glee, trus ada Aston Kutcher, Hillary Swank, Chaterine Heighl, sampe ada Jon Bon Jovi. Bagus koq filmnya, mayan masih brasa new year's eve-nya :))

Film kedua Jack and Jill. Milih film ini krn si Adam Sandler-nya. Doi pasti lucu dan menyenangkan ntn doi berakting. Dan bener aja, lucu euiii..dia berperan jd kembar siam yg mirip banget mukanya. Dia bisa jd Jack yg laki banget dan sekaligus berperan jd Jill yg penampakannya perempuan kelaki-lakian. Kocak! Yg cantik adalah Katie Holmes. Udah lama gak liat aktingnya. She's beautiful like she always did. Dan Adam Sandler emang beneran laki-laki yg kocak!!

Well, I had a very nice weekend with bf. A lot more movies to come in this 2012. Bring it on :))

Keutamaan Hijab

Sesungguhnya seorang wanita muslimah akan menemukan dalam hukum Islam perhatian yang sangat tinggi terhadap dirinya, agar dapat menjaga kesuciannya, menjadi wanita mulia dan memiliki kedudukan yang tinggi. Dan syarat-syarat yang diwajibkan pada pakaian dan perhiasannya tidak lain adalah untuk mencegah kerusakan yang timbul akibat tabarruj (berhias diri). Inipun bukan untuk mengekang kebebasannya akan tetapi sebagai pelindung baginya agar tidak tergelincir pada lumpur kehinaan atau menjadi sorotan mata.

Hijab Simbol Ketaatan kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya

Allah SWT telah mewajibkan ketaatan kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya berdasarkan firman Allah SWT:

"Dan tidaklah patut bagi laki-laki yang mu'min dan tidak pula bagi perempuan yang mu'minah, apabila Allah dan Rasul-Nya telah menetapkan suatu ketetapan, akan ada bagi mereka pilihan (yang lain) tentang urusan mereka. Dan barangsiapa mendurhakai Allah dan Rasul-Nya maka sesungguhnya dia telah sesat, dengan kesesatan yang nyata." (Q.S. Al-Ahzab: 36)

Allah SWT juga memerintahkan kaum wanita untuk menggunakan hijab sebagaimana firman Allah SWT:

"Dan katakanlah kepada wanita yang beriman: "Hendaklah mereka menahan pandangannya, dan memelihara kemaluan-nya, dan janganlah mereka menampakkan perhiasannya, kecuali yang (biasa) nampak dari padanya." (Q.S An-Nur: 31)

Allah SWT berfirman:

"Dan hendaklah kamu tetap di rumahmu dan janganlah kamu berhias dan bertingkah laku seperti orang-orang jahiliyah." (Q.S. Al-Ahzab: 33)

Allah SWT berfirman:

"Apabila kamu meminta suatu (keperluan) kepada mereka (istri-istri Nabi), maka mintalah dari belakang tabir. Cara yang demikian itu lebih suci bagi hatimu dan hati mereka." (Q.S. Al-Ahzab: 53)

Allah SWT berfirman:

"Hai Nabi! Katakanlah kepada istri-istrimu, anak-anak perempuanmu dan istri-istri orang mu'min: "Hendaklah mereka mengulurkan jilbabnya ke seluruh tubuh mereka." (Q.S. Al-Ahzab: 59)

Rasulullah SAW bersabda: "Wanita itu aurat" maksudnya adalah bahwa ia harus menutupi tubuhnya.

Hijab itu 'iffah

Allah SWT menjadikan kewajiban menggunakan hijab sebagai tanda 'Iffah (menahan diri dari maksiat).

Allah SWT berfirman:

"Hai Nabi! Katakanlah kepada istri-istrimu, anak-anak perempuanmu dan istri-istri orang mu'min: "Hendaklah mereka mengulurkan jilbabnya ke seluruh tubuh mereka. Yang demikian itu supaya mereka lebih mudah untuk dikenal, karena itu mereka tidak diganggu." (Q.S. Al-Ahzab: 59)

Itu karena mereka menutupi tubuh mereka untuk menghindari dan menahan diri dari perbuatan jelek (dosa), "karena itu mereka tidak diganggu". Maka orang-orang fasik tidak akan mengganggu mereka. Dan pada firman Allah "karena itu mereka tidak diganggu" sebagai isyarat bahwa mengetahui keindahan tubuh wanita adalah suatu bentuk gangguan berupa fitnah dan kejahatan bagi mereka.

Hijab itu kesucian

Allah SWT berfirman:

"Apabila kamu meminta suatu (keperluan) kepada mereka (istri-istri Nabi), maka mintalah dari belakang tabir. Cara yang demikian itu lebih suci bagi hatimu dan hati mereka." (Q.S. Al-Ahzab: 53)

Allah SWT menyifati hijab sebagai kesucian bagi hati orang-orang mu'min, laki-laki maupun perempuan. Karena mata bila tidak melihat maka hatipun tidak berhasrat. Pada saat seperti ini, maka hati yang tidak melihat akan lebih suci. Ketiadaan fitnah pada saat itu lebih nampak, karena hijab itu menghancurkan keinginan orang-orang yang ada penyakit di dalam hatinya, Allah SWT berfirman:

"Maka janganlah kamu tunduk dalam berbicara sehingga berkeinginanlah orang yang ada penyakit dalam hatinya." (Q.S. Al-Ahzab: 32)

Hijab itu pelindung 

Rasulullah SAW bersabda:

"Sesungguhnya Allah itu Malu dan Melindungi serta Menyukai rasa malu dan perlindungan"

Sabda beliau yang lain:"Siapa saja di antara wanita yang melepaskan pakaiannya di selain rumahnya, maka Allah Azza wa Jalla telah mengoyak perlindungan rumah itu dari padanya."Jadi balasannya setimpal dengan perbuatannya.

Hijab itu taqwa

Allah SWT berfirman:

"Hai anak Adam! Sesungguhnya Kami telah menurunkan kepadamu pakaian untuk menutupi auratmu dan pakaian indah untuk perhiasan. Dan pakaian taqwa itulah yang paling baik." (Q.S. Al-A'raaf: 26)

Hijab itu iman

Allah SWT tidak berfirman kecuali kepada wanita-wanita beriman: "Dan katakanlah kepada wanita yang beriman." (Q.S. An-Nur: 31). Allah SWT juga berfirman: "Dan istri-istri orang beriman." (Q.S. Al-Ahzab: 59)

Dan ketika wanita-wanita dari Bani Tamim menemui Ummul Mu'minin, Aisyah ra dengan pakaian tipis, beliau berkata: "Jika kalian wanita-wanita beriman, maka (ketahuilah) bahwa ini bukanlah pakaian wanita-wanita beriman, dan jika kalian bukan wanita beriman, maka silahkan nikmati pakaian itu."

Hijab itu haya' (rasa malu)

Rasulullah SAW bersabda:

"Sesungguhnya setiap agama itu memiliki akhlak dan akhlak Islam itu adalah rasa malu."Sabda beliau yang lain:

"Malu itu adalah bagian dari iman dan iman itu di surga."

Sabda Rasul yang lain:

"Malu dan iman itu bergandengan bersama, bila salah satunya di angkat maka yang lainpun akan terangkat."

Hijab itu ghirah (perasaan cemburu)

Hijab itu selaras dengan perasaan cemburu yang merupakan fitrah seorang laki-laki sempurna yang tidak senang dengan pandangan-pandangan khianat yang tertuju kepada istri dan anak wanitanya. Berapa banyak peperangan terjadi pada masa Jahiliyah dan masa Islam akibat cemburu atas seorang wanita dan untuk menjaga kehormatannya. Ali bin Abi Thalib ra berkata: "Telah sampai kepadaku bahwa wanita-wanita kalian berdesak-desakan dengan laki-laki kafir orang 'ajam (non Arab) di pasar-pasar, tidakkah kalian merasa cemburu? Sesungguhnya tidak ada kebaikan pada seseorang yang tidak memiliki perasaan cemburu."

wohoooo it's 2012. girang banget nemuin nih tahun. setelah melewati 2011 yg buat gue sih sebenernya gak terlalu terjal, gue girang banget akhirnya masuk juga 2012. so what to do in 2012, here are the lists:

1. NIKAH! yeaah for sure..sudah nyusun sana nyusun sini, gue berdoa banget semoga semua urusan BIG DAY gue lancar. Amiiiinnn :)
2. NAIK GAJI..ooh cmon, semua orang pasti berharap ini. tiap tahun gue juga berharap, tp kali ini gue berharap naik gajinya agak gedean *ngarep* well, naik gaji atau gak, gue tetep dedikasi koq ma kerjaan!!
3. TRAVELLING: must have to do list niih! yg udah keliatan, thn ini akan pergi ke Medan utk acara ceremony bataknese on August and Bali for our honeymoon days on October. sisanya, nunggu gratisan aja yaakk...wkwwkwkkk...ada rencana pergi ma org kantor ke Phuket on February (amiiin) dan ke Bali ma geng (yes, geng) bulan Maret krn si cok mau ada ceremony nikahannya disana. Moga-moga sih ada tempat lain lagi yg bisa jd destinasi travelling gue thn ini.
4. NABUNG: ehm, krn bujet utk thn ini bakal terkuras abis, masih mungkinkah gue nabung! masih sih, pake tabungan "paksaan" gue tapi masih kurang kalo thn depan gue harus beranak. baiklah, Tuhan Yang Maha Besar, tlg berikan saya rejeki yg baik tahun ini supaya saya bisa menghidupi anak saya tahun depan. Amiiiinnn :)))
5. NGURANGIN BERAT BADAN: okay, berat nih..tapi harus karena menuju big day gue, gue pastinya mau gak kurusan dikit, iya dikiiiiitt aja koq *sambil mandang foto jaman SMA yg hanya berberat badan 48kg* pasti bisa dan harus bisa! eh brarti gak boleh sering makan terlalu banyak nih...emang sih ngemil gak tapi kalo udah makan berat trus enak, bisa jadi kalap. oke, harusnya OLAHRAGA bisa jadi solusi. kalo gue tanya si Rido: "Yanggg kapan kita lari lagi di senayan?" dia selalu jawab dgn sindiran super alus: "kapan aja kamu siap!" *jreng-jreeeenggg*
6. GADGET: aaaaakkkk urusan yg satu ini susah bener dihindarin. Maunya gak ganti hape tp Monza ataupun iphone ganggu pandangan banget. Laptop di rumah udah cukup sih kalo buat googling ajah, gak perlu ganti. trus pengen juga beli camera DLSR. Nah yg ini harusnya bisa kebeli sebelum nikahan. Amiiin...
7. BUANG CC: ini juga berat nih, maunya ada satu yg bs gue gunting tahun ini *mandangin CC yg nempel di dompet*

okeh, itu sih garis besarnya yg mau gue lakuin di 2012. Insya Allah bs berjalan lancar...selebihnya, apapun yg terjadi nanti, gue berharap gue bisa tawakal dan ikhlas. Gak ada yg susah kalo kita bisa berusaha menerima hal yg terburuk tapi juga tetap mengharapkan yg terbaik. Tuhan selalu memberikan hal yg paling kita butuhkan dengan caraNya.

Adios 2011

End of year again! Thank you so much 2011. Thank you for all of the memories. Great family, perfect romance, good friends, the work, the travelling time, and everything that had happened. And some notes of 2011 will be.....

» In 2011, I've been travelled to Batam and Singapore in February with office mates. And very nice trips to Universal Studio Singapore because of the rollercoaster! I want it all over again!! In April, I travelled to Wonosobo with best girlfriends. I was awesome spending time with them in Dieng. In some time in July, I had a trip to Peucang in Ujung Kulon island. The beach was so amazing! Thank God I've been there. In September, I went to Bandung with my best girlfriends again. Finally after February 2010, I could enjoy Bandung again. And my last trip this year was in October which is I had my trip to Beijing. A very very blessfull trips. It was nice to finally been in the Great Wall! Awesome! Thank you God for showing me your miracles! And for sure, I should have more trips to go in 2012. Amiiin..

» My beautiful niece is growing up. She can walk now, first step always be the harder but she can make it through more steps. Stay healthy ya baby Calya, you'll always be auntie's favorite :)

» my perfect romance is getting stronger. We grew up as two adults facing the future. We have a lot more plans for this relationship and may Allah SWT bless our ways. Amiiin! You'll always be my perfect partner of everything in life :)))

» A lot more laughs with best friends and also included a little tear. Those are lessons to learn that no matter how bad your life is, a friend is needed to at least cheer you up! Some haters may come but forget them, they just don't value you positive result. And most important thing, you will know who will stay and support you in your bad times. That's called friendship.

» Still stays in my recent job. Yes, I survive for all those dissapointments, the uncertainties and all the impossibles. A lot more to go in years ahead and I'm totally ready for the challenges!!

Thank you Ibu for still stay healthy until today. It means a lot to me. Thank you for being a very supportive mom. It's already 9years this year since Dad passed away. We still survive and we will have a lot more years ahead to get through. I need you to stay healthy, so that I can make you happy. Forgive me for all of those bad words I've said, bad things I've done. I always be your little daughter. And Dad, I miss you being around me. It never be the same without you. May you rest in peace, till me meet again in heaven. Amiiiinn..

As a personal, I grew up to be a truly adult. My decision to wear hijab actually will be my biggest step in life this year. I have no regret, I've been planned this since 2006. Now I believe that nothing is hard or impossible if we have faith in it. If we do something for good reasons, we shouldn't have regret for it! Never underestimate something or even someone, because it might change your life! I always tried my best to be very kind rewind. I want them to remember me as a good person. You don't know me until you know what my stories are. You can't buy inner beauty but you surely can do good things to make you look beautiful inside and outside. Yes, by doing good things!

2012 might be scary but it should be more exciting. Life is beautiful, make sure that we live in reality! 2012 wouldn't be that hard, because I have You with me, Dear God ;)
